Throughout the year, we reach out to our our community and beyond.  Some of our outreach is more hands-on, and some is more financial, and has included:

  • Meals-on-wheels deliveries
  • Community Christmas dinner
  • Serving the Madison "Gathering" meal at the United Methodist Church
  • St. Dysmas prison ministry
  • Domestic Violence Network
  • Bethel Lutheran Home
  • The Banquet in Sioux Falls
  • Lutherans Outdoors in South Dakota
  • ELCA World Hunger

As part of our 2023 "God's Work. Our Hands" Sunday, September 10, we:

  • Made school kits for Lutheran World Relief (and are taking special offering in September to help pay for purchased supplies and shipping);
  • Made "plarn" for weaving into plastic sleeping mats for people experiencing homelessness;
  • Made tie quilts for distribution as needed;
  • Gave our Community Clothing Room a deep-clean;
  • Trained more volunteers in using our worship AV equipment.
